Okay, I'll give you that Spike accidentally sends the journal and that's why he didn't find it. But WHAT in the ever-loving FUCK made Celestia think she should withhold the note from Spike?

What, she thought having CLOSURE would make things WORSE!?

And even IF she had a good reason to keep it from him, she STILL shouldn't have, if she had ANY respect for what were essentially Twilight's last wishes! Twilight WANTED Spike to see that! What kind of ASSHOLE does Celestia have to be to completely disregard her faithful student's intentions by behaving like she knows better??

But nevermind, let's continue dispensing platitudes about the nature of death like first-year philosophy students.
